ARTICLES FOR ROADS AND ITS MAINTENANCE:

AXLE COUNTING CONTACT PLATFORM (Trapezoidal Section)
A strip of stainless steel is vulcanized into the upper part of the contacts to protect them from wear caused by the wheels of vehicles that pass over them.
AXLE COUNTING CONTACT PLATFORM (Parallel Faces Section)
A strip of stainless steel is vulcanized into the upper part of the contacts to protect them from wear caused by the wheels of vehicles that pass over them.

Sensor Axle Counter

Manufactured in trapezoidal and parallel sections, with a length that can vary according to the specifications requested by the customer, with or without upper or lateral stainless steel protection.

Rectangular section contact with upper anti-wear stainless steel protection
Trapezoidal section contact with upper anti-wear stainless steel protection
Rectangular section contact with upper anti-wear stainless steel protections and lateral anti-elongation stainless steel protections
Trapezoidal section contact with upper anti-wear stainless steel protections and lateral anti-elongation stainless steel protections
Rectangular/flared section contact with upper anti-wear stainless steel protections and lateral anti-elongation stainless steel protections
Trapezoidal/flared section contact with upper anti-wear stainless steel protections and lateral anti-elongation stainless steel protections

This solution is the most suitable for those highways with a high incidence of snow or frost.

Resistance to climatic conditions ranges from -50° to temperatures above 60°.

1. Dimensions:

– Section
– Overall length
– Length of the sensitive area
– Length of the connection cable
According to the needs of each case.

– Cable section: external ø 8 mm and internal ø 1 mm for cable

2. Mechanical characteristics:
The closing pressure of the steel plates is between 10/25 kg. in free contact, and consequently 12/16 kg. with the contact inserted in the dovetail or rectangular keyway. The above-mentioned dynamometer tests are ascertained at ambient temperatures between -50° and +60° with the dynamometer, having the measuring surface a circular section of approximately 646 mm2.

3 . Electrical characteristics:
The insulation resistance of the plates between themselves and towards the mass is greater than 500 Ohm in air, and after the contact has been immersed in water for 72 consecutive hours. The maximum working voltage is 24 V. at direct current. The resistance of the contact plates does not exceed 0.02 Ohm. over time and at a temperature between -50° C. and +60° C. The previously indicated checks were carried out with electronic Megger and electrical instruments.

4. Chemical composition of rubber:
Compatible with the previously mentioned characteristics, the rubber compound used is resistant to wear, abrasion, exposure to solar rays, mineral oils and sodium chloride, in particular situations present on mountain roads and in winter resorts.

5. Contact steel plates:
They are made of steel resistant to bending. The anchoring of the steel sheets to the rubber of the contacts occurs through vulcanization

6. Performance:
The contacts described above work with absolute normality in different climatic and atmospheric conditions.

7. Anti-wear protection:
A curved stainless steel plate is placed in the upper part of the contact through the vulcanization process.

8. Warranty:
1 year or 2,000,000 aces
